Comprehensive Philosophy

When we consider the future of philosophy, most of us will be shocked by the largeness of this topic, while attempt to find the answer, we cannot help asking: what is philosophy. However, it seems an even larger topic.

There is no single definition of philosophy can be uncontroversial.

Love and pursuit of wisdom by intellectual means and moral self-discipline.

A belief (or system of beliefs) accepted as authoritative by some group or school.

The rational investigation of questions about existence and knowledge and ethics

Any personal belief about how to live or how to deal with a situation;

Philosophy is the discipline concerned with questions of how one should live (ethics); what sorts of things exist and what are their essential natures (metaphysics); what counts as genuine knowledge (epistemology); and what are the correct principles of reasoning (logic).

Therefore, the future of the philosophy must take all the advantages of the philosophy before, which is called comprehensive philosophy.
